We had a wonderful couple of hours “throwing” pots (as I now know the correct term) in Maria’s lovely private studio. Maria made us feel so welcome and is a terrific instructor and guide, striking exactly the right balance between letting you get on with it yourself and gentle course-corrections when needed. Add to that, she’s a lovely person and fun to be around. We’re excitedly awaiting shipment of our pots when they are baked and glazed; they’ll be a permanent reminder of a magical experience! The one-on-one session was also very helpful, I was incredibly rusty on a wheel and Maria helped me immensely. Also, you get to keep your creation and use it however you see fit! This was the highlight of my trip, I can’t recommend it enough!”
